Shotgun owners: have you ever tried out a SpeedFeed stock?
The kind with tube space in it along the comb to store extra shells. If so, how did you like it (or not like it)? I am considering adding one of these...

had trouble with this setup. prefer a box magazine semi auto, or 8 round tube mag. 3rd choice double barrel. may work real well for you tho, i just keep different loads on right and left side of body, either in pocket, or ammo pouch. like the box mag for quicker reload, extras can be loaded with slug, buck, or #4. do like the mossberg 500 with 8 shot tube and black stock. easy to get the speed load stock for these

I have one on my Mossberg 590 and it works fine. Got it on ebay cheap but no more there due to you know what.

Hmmm. Well, here's an example of the stock I'm considering (on a 590):

I would go with it if its stock but not aftermarket. I got a 590, thats a fine handling weapon. In competition nearly everybody uses a benelli. I use the 590 cuz thats what I got. I do ok. I can rack that bitch fast as hell, believe it, and it's a natural pointer. I can shoot skeet with this piece with my eyes closed. |
